People really liked this Robin on my Instagram. Figured I’d put it up here as well.

vaudevillevictorianwerewolf asked: Where did you get your Robin Costume?

I put it together myself, for the most part.

  • The red shirt and pants are under armour from Academy
  • The mask I just painted on my face with cheap face paint from a party store
  • The belt is a “Batman: Brave and the Bold” Halloween belt. “The Dark Knight” halloween belts would work fine too, but you should spray paint it yellow to match the R.
  • The yellow rectangles and R were cut out of yellow and black vinyl from Jo-Ann’s I think. I glued them on and then they stayed for the night but are kind of flimsy now. Make sure to glue them on while you’re wearing the shirt so they don’t get stretched. Or just get some velcro and do it that way.
  • The boots I bought at a costume store. I think you can get those off the internet for pretty cheap if you look on costume sites.
  • The gloves are “The Batman” gloves that I had a seamstress alter to fit my arms because they’re so freaking huge when you get them.
  • The cape and black outerpants were sewn by a seamstress. I took a cape pattern to her that I found off the internet. If you google “Batman cape pattern” or something I think you can find it. League of Heroes and Brotherhood of the Bat are two good message boards for superhero costumes. I used to get most of my ideas from there.
  • If you wanted to save on the cape though, I’d recommend just buying a cheaper black cape from Walmart or something and cutting the scallops out of it yourself. My cape was like $200. It’s left over from my Batman costume that I wanted to use for a fanfilm that hasn’t happened yet, as are all the black parts.

Hope that helped!

So I stumbled onto this last night. Somebody made a belt buckle out of a Batman drawing I did 3 years ago.

Robin doodle I kind of like. He’s basically the Robin from Batmanga but with his 40s haircut.

What up day, you just got made!

Thanks for the 200 followers, ol’ chums!

Drew this for some /co/ meme a while back. It’s from a Brave and the Bold episode.

Tonight I rocked my friend’s superhero costume party as Robin: The Teen Wonder.

So I started applying a more painterly technique and came out with this. It’s kind of crappy but it’s probably the first thing I’ve “painted” in a year or more.
I’m in kind of a mellow mood and I think that translated over to Damian. I imagine him doing halfhearted flips around the batcave and now he’s looking into a chasm while hanging off of a railing. Must’ve heard that he and Dick aren’t going to be a team anymore.
I painted this out because I hit 100 followers, so thanks everybody!

So I was wondering what “Robin Beyond” would look like if he existed. I started drawing out sketches and then decided to google it and see if anyone had done anything cool based off the idea. Lo and behold, this was on the first page and it looks pretty awesome to me!

I want to read this series very badly. I also, ya now, want it to actually be a series.

“Fun fact: Gendy Tartikofsky has said that they modeled Mojo Jojo’s dialogue and speech patterns off of the Superdictionary.”

I’ll never read the Superdictionary the same way again.
